We have great news for anyone considering importing a car from the USA.While the zero-duty rate has previously been used primarily for classic cars, it can now also be applied to new and nearly new vehicles imported from the USA, provided they meet European Union legislative requirements.
The key condition is documenting the vehicle's origin with the appropriate paperwork. We handle customs clearance in Germany, where this procedure has long been established, even though it is not yet standard practice in the Czech Republic.
What does this mean for our customers?
We have been importing classic cars with the option of applying a zero-duty rate for over 14 years. We are now applying the same principle to new and nearly new American vehicles, provided they meet all requirements of current European legislation.
Furthermore, this benefit will also be reflected in the range of new Dodge and RAM vehicles from our partner importer, KW Auto. This allows us to offer our customers even better terms when purchasing select American cars.
